Literature Review
Internet is very useful for the computer networks for it allows the users to stay on the communication even if it is wirelessly connected. The global communication system provides the accessibility of the users to use the services being offered in the digital media (Evans, 2008). Alongside of the growth of the users of the Internet is also the growth of the social networking sites such as the Facebook and Orkut has been identified to play in the role building the nation. The process in building the nation is through the establishment of a strong communication. The era of interactive and connectivity of the society can provide the opportunities for both the propellers of the site and the users of the online site. Online media are used to create an image of states and nations problems associated with such images of virtual states. Facebook has been captured the eyes of many people and used in articulating the activities of the various interest groups. In the process of nation-building through the use of the communication, the national aspirations can be articulated. The role of the electronic media such as the Internet can be the relevant tool in establishing the communication as well as the relationship of the people even from afar. The structure of the online society has many complexities which is new to the Internet penetration. Staying connected with the friends and acquaintances is the main objective of the social networking sites and it appears that it is also becoming their advantage to attract more people and depend in using their site as the portal of connectivity. The intensive interactions also appear to build the social capital which is associated with the economy of the country. Korea has strengthened the bonds of the people through their very own social networking site named Cyworld. In Brazil, the society adopted the global network called Orkut. The adoption of the practices explores the social classes and the paths for the continuous transfer of communication. The increasing popularity of the social network sites has been the center of the researchers of the technological innovations. Orkut is a social network site that became a major phenomenon in more than 68% population of the Internet access (Recuero, 2008). The communication revolution has become the 21st century’s product. From the simple books, television, and radio, the communication expanded. From the telephone to mobile phones, the communications stays easy and in the introduction of the chat rooms, electronic mails, and social networking system, the communication is delivered fast (Cerf, 2008).
