People, as from the previous researchers, are the important key in the organization. Therefore, organization should collect the right people who are suitable to the job preferences involved in the organization.

Background and Problem Statement

Firms gain the advantages and benefited from the success through answering the risk involved in the business environment. Considering the nature of work in the industry, the complexities are naturally involved. The need for people is certainly important and can assist the organization to meet its objectives. In return, the people can satisfy the need for the success. Part of the strategy that involved in handling the people is through the repetitive work but what would be the impact of this action in the employees’ motivation and performance?

The first objective of the study is to understand the nature of repetitive work within the shared services and in BPO. The second objective is to draw the relationship of the repetitive work in the area of motivation and job performance. Through these two objectives, the study can measure the level of the employees’ commitment in forging the success of the organization.

Research Questions

The study understands the importance of the people’s aid in achieving the success of every organization, therefore, the study prepared several question in aligning the information with connection to the impact of the repetitive work in the performance and motivation.

1. What is the concept involved in the repetitive work?

2. What are the expected results of the organization in incorporating the idea of repetitive work in their management system?

3. What can be the consequences in the organization if there is a working process involved?

Literature Review

Firms expected that every employee should start raising their interest regarding the complexities involved in the nature of their work. People often suffer from the difficulties involved in the workplace. Most of the time, the people are working without knowing the roles they play in the working place. One of the most common problem that the people might face is the unbalanced work or work misalignment. As an answer, the HR department formulated a kind of strategy wherein they can collect the right people for the right work. Working processes are ideal in the competitive nature of work and with the idea of repetitive work in the shared services and/or in BPO, the impacts are emphasized. BPO and the shared services expect the performance coming from the employees to be efficient. Through placing the high value in the nature of their work, the organization can find other effective ways in how to use their manpower well. Business analysts suggest that work will go where the skills are present, and therefore, the repetitive work is recognized as another approach to boost the competencies among the people (Diefendorff, Richard, and Gosserand, 2006). The time is very important to learn the other needs of the organization and to the hire the essential people can help the organization reach the effectiveness in the industry. Based on the performances of the employees, the influence of repetitive work is seen. Performance of each employee might affect their efficiencies towards work, such as delivering the agility and quality support in the organization. Through the performance of the employees, the motivation is also affective and both can propel the higher productivity and competencies (MacBean, 2007). Even if there are many serious threats that was served by the globalization that can also affect the position of the organization. The use of the transfer in knowledge can establish a great connection between the employees and their role within the workplace. The idea in the repetitive process in the shared services or BPO’s encouragingly affects the employees’ motivation that can give way to a better organization commitment (Rashdan, 2005).

Through the applied method, the study can able to compare the information involved in determining the level of repetitive work within the organization. In addition, through reviewing the previous literatures, the study can generate its own idea with the matters of repetitive work and its effect in the motivation and performance among the employees.
