Essay 1: Pursuing a Career in Health and Related Field

Most of the students are interested in pursuing a career in health care and other related fields because of the influence that had since in primary school. The track on the actual pursuit of health care starts in the middle age of youths and their career plans are enriched by various health care programs. The intention of every student in learning different health care services differs and sometimes depends on their environment. If a student experienced or witnessed a situation where there is a great need for health care volunteer, there will be a space in his dream that there is a call for another health care expert. In this event, both experience and the health care personnel draw a great impact and contributed in his future plans.

In the expedition of a student in different educational levels, his aspiration in fulfilling his dream to serve the people becomes more powerful. Through the different collaboration of the teachings in different field, the teachers can be considered as another factor the influences the decision of a child in pursuing the career in health care. Most of the organizations involve the participation of the students in their programs and this creates another opportunity for the children to re-call their dream and establish a strong connection with the organizers. The enrichment programs are popular in most of the areas where there is a significant need for health care workers and health care volunteers. Through the health care programs, the students or volunteers are invited to serve in the name of health and wellness of the society.

These various factors play a very important role in the incorporation of the ideas among the students. From the current educational status of the students like in high school or college, the pursuance for further education in health care and other related fields is part of their future plans. Most of the students felt that there is a place for them in servicing the different regions or areas where there is a need for health care volunteers. Form the perspectives of the students, they frequently plans the health careers as physician or nurse. The participation of the health organizations and their health programs is identified as a great influence in creating the decisions for the young students. Different enrichment programs help the participants to pursue their goal in health careers by increasing the intention or persuasion of the organizations for the students. This strategy is created to boost the interest in working in the areas where there is a relative need for health services. The increase in the level of knowledge and health care training programs is another strategy that helps increase the idea in pursuing the health care career.

As a radiologist, the influence that plays an important role in the creation of my decision is based on the past experience I had during my school days. From the past studies that I had, being a radiologist is another important person in the health care setting wherein most of the health care professionals relies their findings on their prescription.

Essay 2: Pursuing the Goals

At this moment, my family is undergoing the difficult situation and our financial resources are unstable for now. But still, these challenges serve as my inspiration in my pursuance of my dream. If I am selected to be one of the winners in the Tylenol Scholarship Program, definitely it will play a significant role in helping me to accomplish my goal. Being one of the winners is a great privilege that in return can help my family. Part of my short-term goal is to serve the health care institution during my stay in the scholarship program. This goal can be my stepping stone to establish my long-term goal. Being one of the health care personnel that can serve the people in need is one of my great inspirations to fulfill all of my dreams. Together with the other health care providers, we can provide and promote the quality health care in the depressed areas. Serving the people is one of the long-term of being a radiologist and alongside is committing myself to serve my family. All of the contributed help that I can gain from the scholarship is very helpful to be a professional servant in the society.

This fall, I’m planning to begin my college education in Upstate Medical University in Syracuse New York. From the gathered praises and suggestions, I chose the university because of their promised contribution in pursuing my medical career. Through the university, I can gain the quality education and knowledge as a radiologist. In addition, with the practical learning and hands-on training, I know that I can build my own skill in the field I chose.
