And as a symbol of the couple’s eternal love, they seek for the finest ring to place into their fingers.

According to the medical specialists, wearing wedding rings and other jewelries may sometimes cause irritations and allergic reactions. The ring itself contains the nickel which might trigger to the skin irritations. Essentially, the element called nickel is important in producing the jewelries to harden the products. The problem of the wearer may arise when the person is unaware about his/her sensitivity to nickel. The wedding ring sensitivity or ring dermatitis is the term applied to the skin’s nickel contact and could be gained from prolonged exposure to nickel. In addition, the irritation coming from wearing the wedding ring is only giving no room for the skin to breathe.

Nickel allergy came from the nickel particles and its contact into the human skin. Allergies might be seen commonly on married women but this is treatable, indeed. The tradition of wearing the wedding has been originated in delivering the message of the women or men regarding their marital status. The rings are linked to the eternal love, and for the Roman, this is a sign of the woman’s acceptance or agreement between the man that she in no longer free from her youth and herself belongs to only one man. In today’s this tradition still gathers the respect of the people and be incorporated in the churches holy ceremony. Wedding rings usually represents the gift of the men for their wife to be. This symbolizes the lasting affection of the couple and in fact, the wedding rings are made with an engraved with the name of the couple. The wedding rings should not be worn by anyone because it is sacred to the people and the symbol of it will not perish no matter what happen. Since it has a name on it, it can serve as the security of the bearer and prevents anyone to wear it.

Practice of Wearing Wedding Rings

Most people wear the wedding band on the left hand. However, some European women wear the ring on their right hand, while some Scandinavian women wear three rings, one each for their engagement, marriage, and motherhood. The practice of men wearing wedding rings is relatively new. Up until the middle of the twentieth century, it was mostly only women who wore wedding rings, perhaps a reminder of the days when women were regarded as property, or perhaps a harmless custom akin to women wearing engagement rings that their husbands do not. When World War Two broke out and many young men faced lengthy separations from their wives, men began wearing wedding bands as a symbol of their marriages and a reminder of their wives.

Wearing wedding rings is a great opportunity to tell the world that an individual is proud to be a wife or a husband. It was pure romance, a gesture of love and affection that has happily survived into modern times. The vast majority of men wear wedding bands these days. The wedding rings are precious symbol for the lovers and can be served as the status of the couple and their wealth.
