Discrimination and Segregation

Discrimination and Segregation have continued on from our past to our present and eventually to our future. It’s wrong and just brings out the bad in people. But until someone will make a stand then we will live in a separated world. That’s getting old and its time to start fresh and make the world a better place.

Discrimination has been around since the beginning of time. Its one of those things that is contagious and is almost like a trend. The human race is one set of people and no matter what color or type of person we are, we are all equal. Many people are rude or disrespectful to blacks because of their color. They judge before they can even get to know the person. Whites have always been put first before blacks are even thought of and that’s not right. Blacks are just as good as whites no matter what. People have gotten it into their heads that their race is always better than the others.

What happened to equality and unity within our country? Everyone just needs to realize that they are no better than the people surrounding them in their world.

Segregation is the policy or practice of compelling racial groups to live apart from each other. Segregation is when you take the human race and spilt it up into different sections and ranks. For a long time blacks were always told they were equal to the white people, but never actually treated that way. They always had to go to different schools or use different bathrooms as the whites, but they were still told they were equal. You can’t possibly have the law treat the races separately but still equal because there will always be a favorite. Picking favorites is just in human nature and you can’t really help it, but that doesn’t make it right. Somehow this whole separating idea got started and it has carried on since then, but it needs to be stopped.

Discrimination and Segregation are big problems that we have faced all troughtout time and probably on into the future. The USA is mixed with every kind of colored person there is and we are someone of the most racial countries there is. There is a way to stop it though. There are many problems that involve the government and they have the power to stop it. One problem is the uneven amounts of races at most schools. One school will be 97 % white and 3 % black or the other way around. That gives the other students the ability to power up against that 3%. If the government made sure a variety of students got into each school then there would never be any races teaming up against one another. If the government would see all that they could change and actually act on it then our world would be a much better place.

Segregation and discrimination are problems we face daily, but continue to allow to remain. We hear about it constantly yet not one human being is willing to do anything about it. These are two problems that are extremely dangerous and must be stopped. They have been going on long enough and now its time to start building unity and equality within the USA.
