Introduction
Violence has never been an answer in settling the things and promoting the good. It is not an ideal way to promote the right if there is a compromise in the security of the people and there is a violation in the human rights. In every aspect of the human nature, it was natural to have conflict in the society but there are different approach being applied to disperse the attention.
Background of the Study and Problem Statement
In the province of Madhes, there is a revolving conflict that weakening the Nepal’s fragile institution. The government attempted to reduce the conflict through the implemented directives through the uses of political violence to draw attention to the plight of those belongs in the ethnic group (Miklian, 2008). In this situation, is the continue process of resolving the conflict is based on the ethic or in the ides of radicalization?
Research Objectives
The objectives of the study are composed of two valuable parts. First is to measure the effectiveness applied of the political dispersed unit of Madhes on their people. Meanwhile, the second objective is in relation of the first mentioned objective which is about the promotion of the other effective ways to reduce the risk for future armed conflict, not only in Madhes but in the entire country of Nepal.
Research Questions
The study managed to present the several questions to measure the rate or impact of radical implementation of the forces and their action in performing their duties.
1. What is their aim in using the idea of radicalization in giving solution to their conflicts?
2. What are the other options that the unit can apply in reducing the tension of conflicts?
3. What are the actions of the government knowing that there are incidences like this?
Literature Review
There are many suggestions that came from the concerned organizations in which the country can apply. There should be protection being given to the Madhesi that does not over emphasize the tensions within the Nepal’s ethnic groups. The government can include the unit in the political decisions that would break the mentality and past history of the operatives. In addition, the government can help the minority groups by giving them their demands that is appropriate on their current situation (Miklian, 2008). The socialization of the minority groups is an effective initiative to create an absence of violence and can be engaged in the long period of time. This idea is the beginning of the promotion of democracy and empowerment of communication. The media can influence the effectiveness of the civil society protection, monitoring, and advocacy. Through them, they can support and strengthen the society efforts in avoid the stereotyping that might contribute to the idea of radicalization (Paffenholz, 2009). With this reform in the implementation of law, the leaders can have the opportunity to legitimize the de-radicalization and initiate the genuine dialogue among the parties. Finally, aside from the moral element, while durable, intense, and reactive state repression was correlated positively with de-radicalization (Ashour, 2007).
Methodology
The applied method of the study is the comparative case study method where the materials used, specialize the discussion of conflicts, radicalizations, and political agenda. The materials aided the study in achieving its goal to answer the main problem which is about the conflict and radicalization. The broad idea enclosed in the past literatures made it possible for the study to analyze and come up the conclusion.
Conclusion
There is a great concern on how the way the people treats others. This idea falls on the concept of ethics and values. Everybody should respect the freedom and rights they have ever since they were born. But due to the impact of the conflicts in the society and the consequences of their action in implementing the peace and order, it is very understandable to react in any situation but implementing the radical action among the other people triggers in a more serious conflict. De-radicalization and agreement is not a bad idea in enforcing the democracy. Therefore, the country should set an effort in placing it as their priority.
