Carbon Dioxide Balance as a Clean Development Mechanism

Background and Problems Statement

In the global competition and modernization, the community and the industrial sectors are contributing a lot in the pollution making the earth and young population suffocate with the chemicals that are now mixed in the air. Many programs are aiming to reduce the emissions of Carbon Dioxide by promoting the simple actions like planting the trees, up to scientific application, like capturing and replenishing the airs for cleans release. In the support of these advances, the governments are also creating policies that may control and regulate the automobiles and factories in terms of releasing the chemicals. However, all of the projects and programs set forward by the government seem to be ineffective because of the unregulated activities. For such, the contributing of gas emissions from vehicles, even if is under the surveillance, still affects the builds up of carbon dioxide in the air. It is alarming that every year, in every part of the world, the life expectancy of people is decreasing due to this type of pollutants that destroy both man and earth. Most of the victims are recognized to have the lung cancer and even a child can experience such dilemma. In the continuous aim of the programs to achieve the life’s best attributes, the Clean Development Mechanism is moved forward to promote the balance between the emission of Carbon Dioxide and Oxygen. However, in what ways will this solution be effective?

Research Aim and Objectives

The main aim of the study is to investigate the effectiveness of cleaning the Carbon Dioxide for the thorough development of the environment. In order to satisfy this aim, the study prepared four objectives that can help in the continuous gathering of information. First is to determine the methods done by the professionals or by the people to emphasize the aim of the project. Second is to identify the main contributors of carbon dioxide in the society. Third is to measure the adaptability of the method in the increasing problem of the world in terms of global warming. And fourth is to analyze the benefits and drawbacks the methods can deliver in the society.

Research Questions

1. What is the method engineered by the countries to lessen the Carbon Dioxide Emission?

2. Who and what kind of institutions are the greatest contributor of Carbon Dioxides?

3. On to what extent will this method be successful?

4. What are the recognizable benefits and drawbacks?

5. What are the recommendations that can be apply to increase the benefits of the method?

Research Hypotheses

H1:It is believed that through planting trees, the carbon dioxide can be lessen, therefore, planting more plants and/or trees can eliminate the carbon dioxide in the air.

H2: Carbon dioxide brings no good in the society and wasting it is another problem.

H3: The elimination of carbon dioxide starts by eliminating the contributors of it.

Literature Review

Carbon Dioxide (CO2) can be generated into a number of different ways. For such, this includes the natural production of carbon through the cycles and even in the human intervention like burning the fossil fuels. In the beginning of the Industrial Revolution, there is an increase in the human activities that involves the burning of oil, coal, and gas, and deforestation. The natural balance of CO2 in the atmosphere significantly increased and affected the modern society. There are about 80%-90% of Carbon Dioxide emissions that are responsible for the Greenhouse Gas Emissions. In the action of the US in preventing the climate change, the regulations are made and named as “Cap and Trade”. Through the efforts in capturing the carbon dioxide and storing those in geological formations are identified to be the most clean development mechanism. It might be ambitious for the global goal by this can help stabilize the atmospheric greenhouse gases. By requiring the full range of low emission technologies across developed and developing countries. The deployment of carbon dioxide capture and storage (CCS) is should include the national policies, like the introduction of market based or regulatory measures. However, in the case of developing countries the wide range of different national circumstances suggests that a multifaceted approach will be needed to support deployment.

Methodology

The suggested method in the study is the use of secondary data. The materials that will be involved in the study are the environmental reports done by the country to reduce or eliminate the problems in relation to the Carbon Dioxide. The other reports that can be included in the study are the United Nations, World Health Organizations, and other scientific documents that tend to bring the aim into reality.
